Fairfax Water will be conducting our annual Occoquan Dam Siren Testing on Tuesday Nov. 18, 2025 at 10 am. Our back-up date, if needed, is Tuesday Nov. 25 at 10 am.
This diagnostic test is a safety measure to ensure the connections and control system’s functionality. It is also part of a public education campaign to create awareness among residents and business owners about the presence of the siren system. Testing will be completed in one day and should only last approximately five minutes. During the test, no action is needed on the part of residents and business owners in the area.
