One April 24, 2024 the Federal Register published the Department of Justice’s final rule on Title II of the American’s with Disabilities Act explaining how to ensure accessibility of web content and applications to those with disabilities. The Town of Occoquan is committed to achieving Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) Version 2.1, Level AA so that content on our website is available and accessible to all.
The size of the Town of Occoquan is such that our compliance date is set at April 26, 2027. The Town is taking an internal audit of existing pages for compliance while looking for long term solutions.
