Riverwalk Expansion Special Committee (RESC)

At its November 8th, 2023 meeting, the Town Council authorized the Mayor to create the Riverwalk Expansion Special Committee (RESC) and appoint its members. The RESC reported to Town Council in May 2024 with a roadmap for expanding the riverwalk and realizing the Town’s vision. The Committee is no longer in service.

Riverwalk Vision Plan

From September 2022 through November 2023, the Town of Occoquan worked with the Berkley Group and community stakeholders to create a vision plan for expanding the Town Dock and Riverwalk. The process involved multiple opportunities for community input and produced visioning documents, maps, and vignettes that will help the Town and potential partners visualize the future Riverwalk.
